NON-FICTION ENGLISH BOOKS DEPARTMENT
Permanent Part Time (13 – 23 hours/ week)
Kinokuniya Bookstores of Australia is the largest retail bookstore in the Asia Pacific region. Located in the heart of Sydney CBD, we pride ourselves in being the largest bookstore in Australia with expansive space and specialised departments spanning from Comics to Art and Design.
Kinokuniya is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative to work across a broad range of categories in our English Books Department, including business, history, science, and other academic non-fiction.
The ideal applicant will be a hard-working and passionate book lover, who reads widely and has an interest in a range of non-fiction subjects. You will need to be available to work approximately 13 – 23 hours per week, preferably on weekdays.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Customer Service: face-to-face and through phone and email
- Daily housekeeping and merchandising of stock
- Ad-hoc duties when required
- Excellent people and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work well self-directed and in a team
