Hetty McKinnon on Family

Hetty McKinnon on Family

Bestselling author and renowned cook of Arthur Street Kitchen fame, Hetty McKinnon, joins us at Kinokuniya to talk about her new cookbook, Family.

In Family, Hetty McKinnon shares her modern family classics; the multicultural meals that she likes to serve around her table. Some are old favourites, and many are variations on much-loved comfort food, repackaged with a healthier outlook. Add these recipes to your own family repertoire and tempt everyone around the table, young and old, to eat green.

‘Dreaming up flavourful yet nutritious meals, night after night, is one of the greatest challenges in cooking for your family. Developing a repertoire of ‘classics’ is the key – these are the dishes that you can shop for without a list, that are adaptable, that you can cook consistently with aplomb and serve time after time to an appreciative audience.’
