Join us for an evening with bestselling international author Matt Haig as he talks to us about his new book, Notes on a Nervous Planet.

How can we stay sane on a planet that makes us mad? How do we stay human in a technological world? How do we feel happy when we are encouraged to be anxious?

The aim of this book isn’t to say that everything is a disaster and we’re all screwed, because we already have Twitter for that… this book seeks to recognise that what we feel is just as important as what we have. That mental wellbeing counts just as much as physical wellbeing – indeed that is part of physical wellbeing.

Both scary and funny, Notes on a Nervous Planet is essential reading for anyone feeling like a paranoid android, ranging from reflections on the nature of the internet to the tyranny of self‐serve checkouts.

6pm arrivals for a 6.30pm start.

RSVP in store, by phone: 02 9262 7996, email or via Eventbrite.
