Pussyhat Knit-In Workshop

Pussyhat Knit-In Workshop

Join us for a Pussyhat Knit-In with maker and artist Anney Bounpraseuth!

What is a Pussyhat, you ask? A Pussyhat is a nifty pink hat topped with corners that resemble cat ears, that can be knitted, crocheted or sewn together.

Why a Pussyhat, you ask? The Pussyhat Project was launched November 23, 2016 in anticipation and commemoration of the Women’s March on Washington. Find out more about the global Pussyhat Project here.

Here at Kino we want to get involved and are inviting you to join us! This workshop with Anney will teach you how to create your very own Pussyhat from scratch – no prior knitting experience required. Just bring your crafty self and we’ll provide the rest!

Get your tickets through Eventbrite today.

Ticketing fee covers material cost and each workshop participant will be provided with a set of knitting needles and sufficient yarn to knit a complete Pussyhat. All material provided is yours to take home!

Are you an experienced knitter and want to join in, but don’t need the workshop? Drop us an email to RSVP for a free knit-in spot! BYO needles and yarn, knitting pattern will be provided. (Note: free knit-in spots do not include workshop tutorial or materials, limited spaces available)
